Universal Ink Tag - Product Code: IO-6000

Ink tags are referred to as benefit/denial products, because they deny shoplifters the benefit of the stolen merchandise. If a shoplifter attempts to forcibly disconnect a Universal Ink Tag from its locking device, the ink vials will erupt and ink will spill out onto the garment permanently defacing it. Statistics show that shoplifters are deterred from stealing when the target merchandise can neither be worn nor sold.

The Universal Ink Tag can be connected to merchandise in a variety of ways. In a “stand-alone” mode, the tag is combined with a locking mechanism called a "clutch". The white cone-shaped object illustrated in the picture below is UNISEN’S Universal Clutch, which was designed specifically for our Universal Ink Tags. For retailers using EAS, the Universal Ink Tag is compatible with any EAS tag - adding a double measure of protection.

With a 41 mm (1.6") outer shell, the Universal Ink Tag is the smallest ink tag on the market. The two ink vials are standard industry size.

This Ink Tag uses a water based, non-flammable, non-dry cleanable, non-washable, non-freezable ink.

The staining ability of our ink is so unique we have obtained a patent on the actual ink vials.

Our Universal Ink Tag is equipped with a durable stainless steel pin.

The size of the Universal Ink Tag ensures that the entire length of the ink vials rests against the protected article of clothing. This allows the maximum amount of ink to make contact with the clothing after the ink has been dispersed.

The "Breakage Indicator Panel" on the top of the Universal Ink Tag allows the ink to be dispersed in all directions. This panel is also a visual indication to the retailer that the ink tag has been broken.

Uni-Gator Ink - Product Code: IO-6000G for Gray

Introducing a new ink tag very similar to our Universal Ink Tag, but with a unique feature that makes it even more impregnable when used in conjunction with EAS Tags. The pin hole on most EAS tags is positioned directly in the center of a circular recession so that the head of the pin fits perfectly inside of the recession. This feature conceals the shaft of the pin making it more tamper resistant. Our Uni-Gator Ink was designed with a circular platform surrounding the pin on the underside of the tag. This provides a concave/convex fit so that the pin shaft is completely hidden, and therefore impossible to cut. The standard color of the Uni-Gator Ink is gray.

Ink Tag LP – Product Code: IO-60003

This picture illustrates the top and bottom of our innovative new Ink Tag-LP. The LP stands for low-profile, which is exactly what this ink tag is. What makes this ink tag smaller and lighter than any other ink tag on the market is the ink ampules and the clutch lock are encased in the same plastic shell. Instead of connecting an ink tag to retail merchandise using a cumbersome clutch, this ink tag is connected with the use of a small pin (pictured). Essentially, the Ink Tag-LP is the ink tag and the clutch all in one. Imagine how much lighter and less obtrusive that is for retail sales.

Universal Clutch - Product Code: CO-9000

The Universal Clutch was specially designed to work with our Universal Ink Tag, as well as the Sensormatic Ink Mate®. The unique flaps on the sides of this cone shaped clutch conceal the pin of the ink tag making it completely tamper resistant. For the ultimate in protection, wither tag can be upgraded to include our Super Three-Ball™ clutch.

I- Tag – Product Code: IT-1000

The I-Tag offers retailers a aesthetically pleasing and tamper resistant AM or RF hard tag/benefit denial ink tag combination. The ink vials are located on the pin side of the tag, while the AM or RF circuit is located on the clutch (lock) side of the tag. When the two sides are combined they form one solid mass with the pin completely concealed in the middle of the tag.
This makes it impossible for shoplifters to gain access to and cut the pin.

The symmetry between the two parts ensures an even weight distribution when attached to merchandise. This keeps the tag from hanging awkwardly when customers are trying on clothing.

The I-Tag is also more cost effective than purchasing ink tags and EAS tags separately. As with all of our ink tags, a clear warning is printed on the ink side of the tag that informs potential shoplifters what will happen if the tag is removed by force. We can print custom warnings, as well as store logos for larger volume orders.

The I-Tag can be equipped with 8.2 MHz or 58 KHz coils to accommodate almost any EAS System. This tag can be removed from store merchandise with any standard magnetic detacher. . For the ultimate in protection, the I-Tag can be upgraded to include our Super Three-Ball clutch.
